NORTH VERNON KIWANIS WANTS YOU TO PARTICIPATE
IN OUR HOLIDAY FLAG PROGRAM

It isn’t often that you get the opportunity to help your business, your community and
children all at the same time. That is exactly the opportunity we are offering you today.
The North Vernon Kiwanis Club has a Flag Program that very few are aware of and only
a few have participated in the past. Now we would like you to have the opportunity to
participate.
For just $50.00 the first year, and $30.00 every year thereafter, you will have an
American Flag displayed for each major US holiday throughout the year. It will attract
attention to your business location, attract attention to our community, and you will
support the Kiwanis.
The North Vernon Kiwanis have always, and will continue to meet the needs of our
youth. Examples of our support and programs are: Iodine Deficiency Disorder, 4-H
Achievement Awards, American Legion, Boys State, Bring Up Grades (BUG) Program,
Hemmings-O’Connor Scholarship, Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship, HOBY Leadership
Seminars, Indiana State Police Career Camp, Pool Pass for Jennings Villa, Key Club
conventions/support, Little Blue Football and Academic Camp. All the money raised
through this and our other fundraising campaigns is used to support these and other
important programs. All of our administrative money is raised from the members paying
their annual dues.
So please, when a member of the Kiwanis comes to your business, say YES. Because a
yes means you will support your business, your community and most importantly, the
children.
The United States Flag will be displayed on your property on the following holidays:
Presidents Day Memorial Day Flag Day
Independence Day Labor Day Veteran’s Day
The initial $50.00 will be due at the time you commit to participate in our program. This
initial money is used to cover the cost of the flag and bracket to mount to your building.
Thank you in advance for your support of the programs which Kiwanis continues to offer
our community.
